Begun 40 years ago, the colonization of the Amazon has already caused the deforestation of about 17% of its surface. The colonizers, coming from the four corners of Brazil, are partly responsible. Isolated from the world they try to survive in precarious conditions. Nevertheless, the hope for changing the uncaring relationship with the environment is real.
